Love Songs by Seda Mimaroğlu is available now

Every once in a while, a book comes along and invites us, sometimes with a whisper, to see the world in all the beautiful strangeness it possesses. Seda Mimaroğlu's Love Songs (Blue Figure Press) is that book.

Full of poetry that is both melodic and tactile, Love Songs was inspired by the contemplation of physical distances and encounters real and imagined. The snapshots drift from lucid moments of wanting to illuminated reflections of waiting.

Seda Mimaroğlu is a poet and writer from Istanbul with an academic background in law, comparative literature, art history, and philosophy. She lives and works in Berlin. In 2019, Mimaroğlu’s Loose Leaves was released on audiotape by the Berliner Wanda imprint.
